This is the question anyone looking to upgrade should be asking themselves.  A look at the design features, camera, display, hardware, battery life and price of the Galaxy Note 10 and 10+ in comparison to the Galaxy Note 9 will help you decide whether to upgrade or not though you will.

The question about how to improve a Samsung Galaxy Note when it is already among the top best remains a challenging question each time Samsung is coming up with an upgrade of its Note series. When the Note 9 device was released, its fabulous AMOLED display stood out. Also, its state-of-the-art performance and sure reliability was and is still perfect, and that’s why the Note 10+ is built using that very formula, in addition to a series of improvements and more fantastic new features. The Note 10 and 10+ come with a much faster system for charging wired and wireless. The new design has thinner bezels, improved hardware, a new S Pen, a larger battery, and many more fantastic components. Comparing the most important overall features of the different Galaxy Notes will help you see how much these upgrades should be your next Samsung’s flagship.

Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ Design

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ have much to offer when it comes to design unlike the Note 9 or even Note 8. These new devices are the best when it comes to bazels which display an Infinity-O, similar to that of Galaxy S10.  The camera, positioned at the display center at the top has a punch-hole design. The impact is in the display the new Notes come with.

Note 10 and Note 10+ both have camera systems whose rear is vertically positioned in the left corner at the top, but the Note 9 has a rear camera that is horizontally aligned at the back center and the top.

You will really want to upgrade with devices that come with a variety of components that impact the design. For example, these Note devices consist of a body of glass and metal waterproof, alongside a built-in S Pen. Unlike the Note 8 that has an S.Pen that matches its body color, Note 10 and Note 9 S Pens come in different colors and with Bluetooth.

Regarding size, the Note 10+ comes close to the size of the previous Note handsets. With the Note 10, the S Pen functions more like that of Galaxy S10.

Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ Display

The display sizes of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 are two. The inches are 6.3 and 6.8, whereas the Note 9 comes with a screen of 6.4-inches. With the Note 10+, the screen is larger at 0.4-inches.

Note that every Note device uses a Super AMOLED display though they have varying resolutions. With the Note 10, the resolution is the lowest at 2280 x 1080 per 401ppi of pixel density. The Galaxy Note 10+ raises it to 3040 x 1440 per 498ppi of pixel density.

Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ Cameras

Unlike the Note 9, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 has a triple system feature that consist of a major 12-megapixel camera with wide-angles and a double aperture specification of f/1.5 and f/2.4 and many more, which makes the Note 10 totally superior to the Note 9.

The Note 10+ offers with that same camera superiority in addition to a fourth lens to collect more depth details.

Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ Hardware

Any Samsung Galaxy Note 10 device operates on the chipset called Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 or even the Exynos 9825, which is region dependant. The Note 10 runs on a RAM of 8GB, storage of 256GB and without a microSD support. The Note 10+ comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of 512GB options for storage and both come with a microSD support.

Battery

The Note 10 and Note 10+ consist of 3500mAh and 4300mAh batteries, respectively.  Bigger is better in the battery industry, so the Note 10+ battery is certainly more long lasting.

Though the Note 9 also has wire charging, the Note 10 devices provide reverse wireless charging and that’s makes anyone with the Note 10, to want to upgrade.

Should you upgrade to the Note 10 or Note 10+?

The Note 9 still has a lot of what phones in 2019 should be offering but if you want the best, the Note 10 and Note 10+, are your go-to Samsung Galaxy devices right now.

The Galaxy Note 9 currently sells for $ 700, whereas the Note 10 goes for a retail price of $1,100. The Note 10+ with its much superior premium design, back gradient pattern, edge-to-edge screen, high memory capacity, and internal storage, all make these latest Notes the ideal upgrade to make.

If you’re currently using the Note 9, you can still benefit from Samsung’s trade-in promotion which offers you $600 upon upgrading to the Note 10+. With $700, you can get a new Note 9, which implies that the promotion is a good deal to have you upgrade to the latest flagship with Samsung.
